Welcome to the Highlands of Leawood HOA Website!
The Highlands of Leawood Homes is a quaint subdivision in the heart of Leawood, Kansas. The Highlands began construction in 1987 and currently consists of 145 beautiful, uniquely designed homes. In 1989, the Highlands of Leawood Homes was incorporated into a Homeowners Association, which has been, and continues to be, run entirely by and for the residents. No other subdivision in the area can boast of having such a wide array of amenities as a wrought iron perimeter fence, walking trails, a pool and clubhouse, kid-friendly green belts throughout the subdivision, designer light poles, and designer mailboxes available to be used by such a limited number of residents.
The Highlands has maintained its traditions since its inception, including activities such as Halloween phantom ghosting. The best feature of living in the Highlands is the residents, who are a mix of original homeowners and young families. We are proud to continue a tradition of volunteering to improve the neighborhood and supporting one another, making the Highlands a unique and fantastic place to call home!
